The Rich family of the Grand Canyon's North Rim has deep roots in the sand and rock of the Colorado Plateau. As early as 1866 our people began the exploration and endeavors that make us a part of this land of blue sky and red rock. Here is our gallery - a collection of treasures from our arid, fragile, harsh, incredibly beautiful region which finds its highest human expression in the arts and crafts of its native peoples. We hope to draw you in, to bring you to this place of sand and wind and sun and make you feel the complex weaving of geography and humanity which produces our offerings of silver, stone, wood, clay and wool. Each piece has its own creator and story, each is a condensation of the traditions and beliefs that shaped it into the work of artistry which you can make your own.
Our purpose is not only to sell things, but to teach you what they truly are. Through education and by offering these treasures for sale, we can help keep alive art forms which life in the modern world is killing off. Because artworks require so much time, care, sacrifice and spirit to produce, young people are turning to easier jobs to support themselves.
