Hopi. The name means "people of peace." But it is not the name which Hopis call themselves, which is "Hisatsinum," or "the people who live correctly." In their villages on three mesas in northeastern Arizona, a traditional Hopi's life is one dedicated to living in harmony with his fellowman and with nature.
