This Zuni style necklace made of hand-carved "fetishes" is unique in that a combination of Navajo and Zuni craftsman work together to produce this beautiful piece. A variety of animal likenesses, such as duck, fish, and badger with a bear as the center piece, are strung in a single strand between hand-made shell and turquoise beads. Carved of such traditionally used stones as turquoise, serpentine, soapstone, spiny oyster shell and coral, the figures are beautiful in their detail and individuality. Size: 18" L.
